The collection relates to the writer, Alan Marshall. Includes the text of a talk given by Shirley Joy at Black Rock House, Black Rock, Vic on 5 May 2002 as part of a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alan Marshall. Contains a copy of her book, 'William Allen Marshall : the writer Alan Marshall 1902-1984', 2001, and newspaper cuttings and photographs, including a class photo taken at Terang School, Victoria in 1916/1917. Alan Marshall is identified, and his friend, Tom Middleton. Photographs taken of Marshall in the early 1980's also include Tom Middleton.
